Where does A.D. primarily run?
Although we run on a 48 state authority, we pick up and deliver primarily midwest and east of the Mississippi River.

Is it forced dispatch?
Yes, we run a forced LEGAL dispatch.  

How many miles do I get per week?
We are seeing averages of 2800 miles weekly.

How often can I get home?
Depending on your home location, most of our drivers get home every 10-14 days.  Drivers that live near our Canton MI terminal get home every 7-10 days. 

What kind of trucks are in the fleet?
We have a mixture of Kenworth and Freightliners.

Do I get my choice of truck to drive?
You will be assigned a truck that is DOT inspected, profesionally cleaned and ready to go out.
 
Can I take the truck home?
Yes, as long as there is secured parking that is not in a truck stop or public parking.

How soon can I start driving?
You may be dispatched as soon as you finish orientation.

Do I get an assigned driver manager?
Yes, your driver manager will work closely with you as a team.

Do you run paper or e-logs?
We run e-logs through the Peoplenet system.

How long is orientation?
Orientation typically lasts 1-2 days.

Do I get paid for orientation?
You will receive $60 per diem for your costs and expenses.  Breakfast and lunch is provided the day of class.
 

How do I get there?
If you live out of state, we will make arrangements for an A.D. driver in the area to give you a ride up to our Canton, Mi yard otherwise, you will be issued a Greyhound bus ticket, Amtrak train ticket or flight ticket if applicable.

Is lodging provided if I have to stay overnight?
Yes, if orientation is held over, transportation and lodging is provided.

What do I have to bring to orientation?
You will need to bring: DOT medical long form, DOT card, social security card, drivers license, canceled or voided check (for direct deposit), proper spelling of names and social security numbers and birth date of dependents you will be adding to your medical benefits.  Enough gear to get you through the first couple of weeks.

What day is pay day?
Our drivers get paid weekly on Wednesdays.  We encourage drivers to enroll in direct deposit.

When do I get my first paycheck?
We do hold back one week of pay.

When will my direct deposit start?
Direct deposit takes effect with your first pay check.

When will my selected benefits start?
Benefits will take start on the first day of the month following your 60 days of employment.

What is your pet policy?
Although we do love our four leg friends, we do not allow pets in company trucks.
